About this license
This Usage License explains how you may use the digital kits, add-on packs, clipart, papers, ephemera, labels, borders, starter pages, and other design assets (the "Assets") available from Memory Book Makers by GrafxVault. When you purchase or download any Asset, you accept the terms of this license. If you do not agree, please do not download or use the Assets.
What you receive
Your purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to use the Assets under the terms described below. You do not own the Assets themselves — you own a license to use them. Memory Book Makers by GrafxVault retains all copyright, trademark, and intellectual property rights in the Assets.
Personal use
You may use the Assets for personal, non-commercial projects, including scrapbook pages, memory books, invitations, gifts, and home décor for yourself, your family, or your friends. You are free to modify, resize, recolor, layer, and combine the Assets to suit your personal projects. There is no limit on the number of personal projects you may create.
Limited commercial use
You may sell physical or digital finished goods that you create using the Assets, provided that: • The Assets are combined with other elements — such as your own photos, text, illustrations, or additional design work — to create a new, distinct design that is clearly different from the original Asset. • The Assets are flattened and incorporated into your finished product. They may not be extracted, isolated, or provided as separate, editable files. • The original Assets do not make up the primary value of the product you sell. Examples of acceptable limited commercial use include finished scrapbook pages, printed photo books, greeting cards, invitations, and digital layouts that incorporate your own photos and wording alongside the Assets.
Starter pages — no commercial resale
"Starter Pages" are predesigned page templates sold or provided by Memory Book Makers by GrafxVault. Starter Pages are licensed for personal use only. You may not sell, resell, or redistribute Starter Pages — on their own or as part of a collection or book — in any form. For example, you may not assemble a book consisting solely or primarily of our Starter Pages and sell it. Starter Pages must not be used in any commercial product without a separate commercial license agreement.
No resale or redistribution of files
You may not resell, redistribute, repackage, share, lease, rent, sublicense, or otherwise make the Assets — or any individual file within a kit or pack — available to others in any way, shape, or form. This applies to the original files and to any modified, renamed, or re-formatted version of them. Specifically, you may not: • Sell or give away the original digital files (PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, or any other format). • Upload the files to any website, marketplace, file-sharing service, cloud drive, or social media group for others to download. • Include the files as-is in any free or paid digital product, bundle, or giveaway. • Claim the Assets as your own work. The Assets must always be incorporated into a new, distinct finished product — never distributed as standalone files.
Extended & custom commercial licenses
If your project falls outside the limited commercial use described above — for example, large-scale production, print-on-demand at volume, digital templates for sale, or use in a product that competes with our vault — please contact us through the Contact page. We'll review your project and, if approved, issue a separate commercial license tailored to your use case. Any commercial use not explicitly covered by this license or a separate written agreement is prohibited.
Attribution
Attribution to Memory Book Makers by GrafxVault is not required, though it is always appreciated. You may credit "Memory Book Makers by GrafxVault" if you wish, but you are not obligated to do so.
Prohibited uses
You may not use the Assets in any way that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the rights of any third party. You may not use the Assets in products, designs, or branding that compete with Memory Book Makers by GrafxVault or that replicate our kits, packs, or Starter Pages. You may not use the Assets to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without a separate written agreement.
Termination
This license is effective until terminated. If you violate any term of this license, your right to use the Assets ends automatically, and you must stop using and delete all copies of the Assets in your possession. You may keep and continue to sell finished products that you lawfully created before the termination, provided they comply with the limited commercial use terms above.
Changes to this license
We may update this license from time to time. Changes apply to Assets purchased or downloaded after the updated license is posted. We'll do our best to let members know when something material changes — either by email or a notice on the site.
