Welcome to Memory Book Makers
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Memory Book Makers website, vault, and Studio. By creating an account, browsing the vault, or using any part of our service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
Memberships
We offer two paid membership tiers: • Memory Keepers — $18 per month. Includes 50 kit credits and a 10% discount on vault purchases. • Storytellers — $29 per month. Includes 100 kit credits and a 25% discount on vault purchases. Memberships renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may change membership pricing with reasonable advance notice; existing members keep their current rate for as long as they maintain their membership, and new rates apply only to new members.
Cancelling your membership
You can cancel your membership at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access to the Page Maker, member discounts, credits, and blog commenting until then. Membership fees are non-refundable once charged. After your billing period ends, you can still log in and download your purchased kits, add-ons, and saved files for one year. During that year you'll lose access to the Page Maker, member discounts, credits, and blog commenting. After one year, your account and all associated files are permanently deleted.
Account retention & restoration
After your membership ends, you can still log in and download your purchased kits, add-ons, and saved files for one year. If you rejoin within that year, you can restore your account just as it was. If you rejoin using the same email address, your account is restored automatically. If you rejoin using a different email address, you can use the Restore Account page to enter your previous email and we'll transfer all your data to your new account. After one year of non-membership, your account will be permanently closed and all associated data will be deleted. You will no longer be able to log in or restore your account after this point.
Kit credits
Each membership includes a monthly allowance of kit credits that can be spent on any kits or add-on packs in the vault. Credits reset monthly on your renewal date — your balance is topped up to your tier's allowance (50 for Memory Keepers, 100 for Storytellers) and any unused credits from the previous cycle do not carry over. Any unused credits are forfeited when your membership is cancelled or lapses. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another account or redeemed for cash. If you upgrade your tier mid-cycle, any prorated credit difference is added to your balance.
Digital products & refunds
Kits, add-on packs, and freebies are digital products. Because digital goods cannot be returned once downloaded, refunds are not generally available after a download has been initiated. If a product is defective or you cannot access your download, contact us and we'll make it right — either by fixing the issue or issuing a refund at our discretion. Membership fees are non-refundable once charged, but you can cancel future renewals at any time.
Using the Studio
The Studio is provided for your personal, creative use. You keep all rights to anything you create — your photos, your text, and your page designs are yours. You may export, print, and share your work freely. Please don't use the Studio to upload, store, or share content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's intellectual property, or is harmful or abusive. We may remove content that violates these terms.
The Studio Wall & community
Pages you share on the Studio Wall are visible to other members and visitors. Comments and likes are public. You can remove your shared pages at any time from your dashboard. We may feature shared pages to inspire other members. We may remove content that breaks these terms or that we believe is inappropriate.
Shared memory books
When you toggle sharing on a book, a public link is created that lets anyone with the link view that book in read-only mode. You can turn sharing off at any time to make the book private again. Shared links are intended for sharing your own work with family and friends — please don't share links to books that aren't yours.
Intellectual property
The Memory Book Makers name, logo, website design, and Studio software are the property of GrafxVault, the parent company of Memory Book Makers. Kit and add-on pack designs — including papers, clipart, ephemera, labels, borders, and other elements — are licensed to you for personal use and small-scale commercial use as part of finished scrapbook projects. You may not resell, redistribute, or share our digital kits or their individual elements as standalone digital files. You may not use our designs in products that compete with our vault.
Affiliate marketing disclosure
Memory Book Makers participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission when you click certain links on our site and make a purchase from a third-party partner. These affiliate relationships do not affect the price you pay, and we only recommend products we believe are genuinely useful to our community. Affiliate links and sponsored placements are clearly labeled. See our Privacy Policy for more on how advertising cookies work.
Print services (coming soon)
We plan to offer professional printing of finished memory books through third-party print-on-demand partners, and may offer physical scrapbooks with custom-designed covers. These services will be provided by third-party printers — we facilitate the order but the printer is responsible for print quality, shipping, and returns. Full terms for print services will be provided before any print order is placed.
Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: resell or redistribute our digital products; scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the Studio; use bots or automated tools to access the service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data; share your account with others; or use the service to violate any law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Limitation of liability
Memory Book Makers is provided "as is." We work hard to keep the service running smoothly, but we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for data loss caused by circumstances beyond our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll do our best to let members know when something material changes — either by email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
